The injured reserve list is getting all too familiar to second year wideout Marcus Easley.
The Buffalo Bills have placed Easley on the injured reserve list for the second straight year with an apparent heart ailment. Easley was placed on IR last season when he suffered a knee injury in training camp.
This is a big blow to the Bills as they only kept five receivers on the roster with the hopes of them all being big contributors. Easley, from Connecticut, was supposed to be the guy to compliment Steve Johnson at the number two wide receiver spot.
Easley left practice last Friday with what coach Chan Gailey described as an illness. "It's not an injury and we think it will resolve itself shortly" said Gailey.
Obviously that will not be the case as Easley will have to wait at least one more year to play his frist regular season game.
In his place, the Bills have re-signed wideout Ruvell Martin who originally made the 53 man roster but then was released when the Bills claimed OL Sam Young from the Cowboys.
