Terrelle Pryor to Oakland

Once rumored to be a possibility for the Bills, former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor is heading to Oakland. It's no surprise that the troubled athletic QB is on his way to the Black and Silver. Al Davis loves players like this and it's no surprise he used a higher pick than anybody else to take him in today's supplemental draft. The rules of the Supplemental Draft stipulate that Al Davis's Raiders must give up their 3rd round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft for the rights to Pryor.

Pryor won't have any impact on the team this year. He won't even be allowed to practice with the team until after Week 5 because of a suspension handed down by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Oakland is known for taking speedy "athletic" skill position players who end up flopping. The most notable of these are JaMarcus Russell with the first overall pick in 2007 and taking Darius Heyward-Bay over the arguably more talented Michael Crabtree in 2009 because of this 40 yard dash time.

The Raiders will now have a very slow draft next season. They no longer have a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round pick. They traded the 2nd to New England for two picks last year. The 3rd rounder will be taken away for Pyror and the 4th rounder was traded to Washington for QB Jason Campbell.
